Snippets (saved replies)

What it is for: saving the texts you repeat again and again (prices, opening hours, directions) and dropping them into a message by typing "/" and their shortcut.

Where to find it: menu Conversations («Conversaciones») → Snippets («Fragmentos»), usually inside «More…» («Más…»).
Who sees it: the whole team of an account that has the CRM or the Suite. If you do not see it in your menu, ask in Help and contact («Ayuda y contacto»).

What you see first

  • The + New snippet («+ Nuevo fragmento») button, a search box and three tabs: All («Todos»), Team's («Del equipo») and Mine («Míos»).
  • Each snippet shows its shortcut (for example /precio), its name and whether it is the Team's («Equipo») or Yours («Tuyo»).
  • Edit («Editar») only appears on the ones you can change: your own and, if you are the owner, the team's.

Step by step

Create a snippet
  1. Click + New snippet.
  2. In Name («Nombre»), give it a title so you recognise it (for example "Prices").
  3. In Shortcut («Atajo»), type what you will key in after the slash, for example precio. Only letters without accents, numbers, hyphens and underscores (up to 30).
  4. In Text («Texto»), write the message. To personalise it, click a variable under the box and it is inserted where your cursor is.
  5. Look at the Preview («Vista previa»): it shows how it will look with sample data.
  6. Tick For the whole team («Para todo el equipo») if you want everyone to use it. Only the owner can share them; otherwise it stays yours.
  7. Click Save («Guardar»).

The variables you can use are {{nombre}}, {{nombre_completo}}, {{empresa}}, {{mi_nombre}}, {{telefono}} and {{email}}. {{mi_nombre}} is the person writing the message. Anything not known about the contact comes out empty: "Hello {{nombre}}, ..." with no name becomes "Hello, ...".

Use a snippet while writing a message
  1. In a WhatsApp message, an email, a CRM note or the chat with KOR, type "/".
  2. The list of your snippets appears. Keep typing to filter it (for example /pre).
  3. Pick one with the arrow keys and press Enter or Tab, or click it. Esc closes the list.
  4. The text goes into the message with the variables already filled in. Check it before sending.
Change or delete a snippet
  1. Click Edit on its row.
  2. Change what you want and click Save.
  3. To delete it, click Delete («Borrar») and confirm with Yes, delete («Sí, borrar»).
Find a snippet

Type part of the shortcut, the name or the text in the search box. The Team's and Mine tabs separate shared snippets from personal ones.
