What it is for: sending one email to many of your customers and leads at once (news, an offer, a notice). KOR writes it if you ask, you review it, choose who it goes to and send or schedule it.
Where to find it: menu Win customers («Captar clientes») → Email campaigns («Campañas Email»).
Who sees it: if your plan includes it. On the free plan it appears in the menu with a padlock and leads to upgrading. If you have the plan but see the message "This module is not active on your account", click I want to turn it on → («Quiero activarlo →») or ask in Help and contact («Ayuda y contacto»).
What you see first
- Sends this month («Envíos este mes»): a bar showing how many emails you have sent and how many your plan includes. If you run short, you can extend the month's allowance right there, or ask our support team.
- On the left, + New campaign, the ⚙ Sender button and the list of your campaigns, each with its status: Draft, Prepared, Scheduled, Sending, Sent or Error.
- On the right, the details of the campaign you pick.
If there are Prepared campaigns waiting, a yellow notice appears at the top: There is 1 campaign ready to send. Nobody sends them for you: open them, look them over and press send.
First of all: which address does it come from?
By default, your emails go out in your name from a shared address. If you want them to come from your own domain (for example, hello@yourcompany.com), it is better: people recognise you and it is less likely to land in spam. You only do this once.
Use your own domain as the sender
- Click ⚙ Sender («⚙ Remitente»).
- Under 1 · Your domain, type your domain and click Register («Dar de alta»).
- A table of records appears (Type, Name, Value). Give it to whoever manages your website or email so they add them to your domain's DNS.
- Once they have added them, click Verify («Verificar»). It can take from minutes to hours.
- Under 2 · Addresses to send from, type the visible name and the part before the @ and click Add («Añadir»).
- Under Replies go to («Las respuestas llegan a»), enter the email where you want to receive answers and click Save («Guardar»).
Step by step
Create a campaign with KOR's help
- Click + New campaign («+ Nueva campaña»).
- Give it an internal name (for example, "September news") and the Email subject («Asunto del email»).
- Under Write with KOR, tell it what you want to say: to whom, what you are offering, until when. If you want a button, put its link in Button link (optional) («Enlace del botón (opcional)»).
- Click Write («Redactar»). A draft with your branding loads: review it and adjust what you like.
- Click Save draft («Guardar borrador»).
Build or tweak the email your way
The email is made of blocks you can move around. On the right you always see the preview.
- Add blocks with + Title, + Paragraph, + Image, + Button, + Divider and + Footer (small print).
- Use the arrows ↑ and ↓ to reorder them, and ✕ to remove them.
- In paragraphs, select text and click B, I or U for bold, italic or underline.
- For images, click Upload image («Subir imagen») or paste an address, and if you like, a link for when they click.
- In the Design («Diseño») strip you can change the logo, the outer background and the box background. reset brand («restablecer marca») returns to your colours.
- If you already have a saved template, pick it under Use template («Usar plantilla»). To save your own, click Save as template («Guardar como plantilla»).
Save and reuse email templates
- In Email campaigns, click Templates («Plantillas»), at the top right.
- You will see your templates, with their folder. Click + New template («+ Nueva plantilla») to create one: give it a Name («Nombre»), Folder («Carpeta») and Subject («Asunto»), build the blocks and click Save template («Guardar plantilla»).
- On each template you can Use in campaign («Usar en campaña»), View («Ver»), Edit («Editar»), Duplicate («Duplicar») or Delete («Borrar»). Deleting it does not change campaigns you already made with it.
- To go back, click Campaigns («Campañas»).
The Templates button appears if you have the CRM or the Suite.
Choose who it goes to
Under Who it goes to («A quién va») you pick the group:
- CRM leads («Leads del CRM»): people who have written to you or come in through your ads and forms. You can filter by Tags, by No activity for (days), or tick Customers only (already bought) or Non-customers only.
- Agenda: your contacts by lists and tags. Tick the Lists (if you tick none, all are included) and, if you like, pick tags to include or leave out.
Next to each group you see how many people have an email. Anyone with the "no-escribir" tag never receives anything, and neither does anyone who has opted out.
See the list before sending and fix it
- Open the campaign and click see who it goes to («ver a quién va») to see how many people match the filter and who they are.
- To change the group, click Change group or filters («Cambiar grupo o filtros»).
- To stop someone receiving this campaign, click Remove («Quitar») on their row (Put back («Volver a poner») restores them).
- If an email is wrong, fix it on their row: it stays saved for future campaigns.
- If another person from the same company is missing, click ➕ Add person («➕ Añadir persona»), type their email (and name, if you like) and click Add.
If your plan covers a limited number of contacts and the campaign goes over, the panel warns you in red before you continue.
Prepare, test and send
- Tick the box These people have agreed to receive my emails («Estas personas han aceptado recibir mis correos»). You cannot continue without it. Tick it only if it is true: sending to people who did not ask for it makes emails bounce or get marked as unwanted, and then we stop your sends to protect your account.
- Click 1 · Prepare recipients («1 · Preparar destinatarios»). The campaign moves to Prepared and tells you how many recipients there are and how many were left out because of opt-outs.
- Click Test (to me) («Probar (a mí)») to receive the email yourself, or type another address in or to another address… and click Test →.
- When it looks right, click 2 · Send now («2 · Enviar ahora», it asks you to confirm and it cannot be undone), or pick a date and time under or schedule («o programar») and click OK.
If you change the content of an already prepared campaign with Edit («Editar»), click Save and prepare it again before sending.
See what happened after sending
- Open the campaign and click ↻ Statistics («↻ Estadísticas»).
- Under What happened («Qué ha pasado») you will see people grouped as: Bounced, Marked as spam, Opted out, Clicked, Opened it, Delivered, Sent.
- Start with the people who clicked: they are the most interested. Fix or remove the bounced ones: if they stay on your list, they damage your domain's reputation.
Opens are only a guide, because some email programs open messages on their own. Clicks do come from the person.
Opt-outs
Every email carries its own opt-out link and it works by itself. Anyone who opts out never receives your campaigns again.
If something does not go as expected
| What happens | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| I see "⛔ Campaigns stopped" | Too many of your emails bounced or were marked as unwanted, and sends were paused to protect your account | Read the message on screen and, if you need help, ask in Help and contact |
| I see "⚠️ Be careful with your campaigns" | Your emails are bouncing or being marked as unwanted more than normal | Only send to people who asked to receive your emails |
| It will not let me click Prepare recipients | The box saying they agreed to receive your emails is not ticked | Tick the box |
| My email goes out from a shared address | You have not verified your domain yet | Do it under ⚙ Sender |
| It says the contacts do not fit | Your plan covers fewer contacts than the campaign has | Narrow the group or upgrade your plan |
| I cannot see who opened the email | Open tracking is switched off | It is not that nobody reads it: it is not being measured. Clicks still count |
| A campaign shows Error | Something failed while preparing or sending; the reason appears in red | Read it, fix it and prepare again |
