Webinars

What it is for: giving your own webinar, live or recorded, and filling it with leads. You create the webinar; EK1 gives you the sign-up page, the room, the reminders and the figures on who showed up.

Where to find it: menu Win customers («Captar clientes») → Webinars (inside More…).
Who sees it: depends on your plan. The Suite includes unlimited webinars, the CRM plan includes one, and the free plan does not include them. If you are missing it, that menu entry shows you how to get them.

What you see first

  1. The list of your webinars, with their type (Evergreen or Live), their length, whether they are published or a draft, and how many people signed up and how many attended.
  2. The buttons at the top: + New webinar («+ Nuevo webinar»), ⏸ Pause all («⏸ Pausar todos»), ▶ Resume all («▶ Reanudar todos»), ⚙️ Automatic follow-ups («⚙️ Seguimientos automáticos») and ⭐ Score attendees («⭐ Puntuar a los asistentes»).
  3. If you have reached your plan's maximum, instead of + New webinar you will see a notice with the link to move up to the Suite.

There are two types of webinar:

  • Live: you broadcast at the time you say (on YouTube, Vimeo, Zoom or Meet) and your leads come into the room.
  • Evergreen: a recorded video that plays by itself, as if it were live. It starts at its time, goes where it should and cannot be skipped ahead.

Step by step

Create a live webinar
  1. Click + New webinar.
  2. Write the Webinar title («Título del webinar») and, in the description, what it is about and what people take away (it appears on the sign-up page).
  3. Choose Live («En directo»).
  4. In "Broadcast room", paste the link to your broadcast. YouTube Live or Vimeo play inside the room. Zoom or Meet open in another tab.
  5. Set the Length in minutes.
  6. Click Save draft («Guardar borrador»).
  7. Now, in the Sessions («Sesiones») section, choose a day and time and click Add session («Añadir sesión»). You can add several.
  8. When it is ready, click Publish («Publicar»).
Create a recorded webinar that plays by itself (evergreen)
  1. Click + New webinar and choose Evergreen (recorded, plays by itself) («Evergreen (grabado, se emite solo)»).
  2. Paste the video link (YouTube, Vimeo or an .mp4) and set the length.
  3. Under When it plays («Cuándo se emite») combine the modes you want:
    • Instantly: whoever signs up watches right away, like a sales video.
    • Just in time: there is always a session starting in less than 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60 or 120 minutes. People who sign up in the same window share a session, so the room is not empty.
    • At fixed times: tick the days of the week, set the time and choose the time zone. + a fixed time adds more.
    • Specific dates: save the webinar and use Add date («Añadir fecha») for premieres or challenges.
  4. Click Save draft and, when it is ready, Publish.
Fine-tune an evergreen (night hours, holidays, joining late, replay)

Inside an evergreen webinar open Fine settings: quiet hours, blocked days, joining late and replay («Ajustes finos: silencio, días bloqueados, entrar tarde y replay»):

  1. Do not offer night-time sessions: tick the box and choose the range (for example, 23:00 to 07:00). It applies to the time of the person signing up.
  2. Days with no broadcast: with + block days you mark holidays or time off.
  3. People can join after the session has started for up to…: the minutes of margin for arriving late. Empty means they always can.
  4. Replay available…: the hours after it ends during which it can be watched again. Empty means no replay.
  5. If you want to stop sign-ups, tick Paused. Places already reserved stay.
Change the sign-up page
  1. Open the webinar and unfold Sign-up page: template, benefits, speaker, pixels («Página de inscripción: plantilla, beneficios, orador, píxeles»).
  2. Choose a template: Classic (light), Hero (dark, form alongside) or Minimal (just the essentials).
  3. Write "What they take away" (one benefit per line).
  4. Add who gives it: name, job title and photo.
  5. Change the Button text (for example, "Reserve my place") and, if you like, your own thank-you page.
  6. Save. When the webinar is published, the link to the page appears at the top so you can share it.

The person signing up gives their name, email and, if they like, their phone number. They receive an email with the link to the room and a calendar reminder. Each person who signs up is saved as a lead in your CRM.

Put the sign-up page on my website

Open the webinar, unfold Sign-up page and, at the bottom, copy the code under "To embed it on your website". Paste it into the page of your website where you want it.

Measure ads with the Meta pixel or Google Analytics
  1. In Sign-up page, write the number of your Meta pixel and/or your Google Analytics 4 code.
  2. Save. The sign-up is measured as a "Lead".
The pixels only load if the person accepts cookies.
Test two versions of the page (A/B test)
  1. In Sign-up page, tick A/B test: show half of visitors a different version B.
  2. Fill in version B: title, description, template, button text and benefits. Anything you leave empty stays as in version A.
  3. Save. Half the visits will see B.
  4. Later, in Analytics, you will see which one converts better. If B wins, click Adopt B («Adoptar la B») to make it the final one.
Add a call-to-action button

Open Call-to-action button (optional). Write the text (for example, "Book your call"), the link and the minute from which it should appear in the room.

Prepare the room: offers, gifts, surveys and notices
  1. Open the webinar and unfold Room: moments, chat and atmosphere («Sala: momentos, chat y ambiente»).
  2. Under Moments in the room choose the type: Offer, Gift / lead magnet, Survey, Book a call or Notice.
  3. Set the minute and second it appears (for example, 12:30) and, if you like, when it is withdrawn. Or tick I launch it to launch it by hand during the live session.
  4. Fill in the title, text, button and link. For a survey, write one question per line with its options separated by commas.
  5. Click Add moment («Añadir momento»). With edit and remove you fix the ones you already have.
Charge for an offer from the room
  1. Create a moment of type Offer.
  2. Under "Charge from the room with a product", choose a product from your catalogue. If you choose none, the button just goes to a link.
  3. With a product, the button in the room creates the invoice and opens the payment.
This list only appears if you already have products in your Product catalogue.
Charge for entry to the webinar
  1. Open the webinar and tick Paid webinar: charged when signing up.
  2. Choose the product that is charged.
  3. Save. Whoever signs up receives the invoice to pay and the room opens once it is paid. In the meantime they see a Pay for my place button.
Decide how the room chat works

Under Room chat, choose:

  • Chat open to everyone, Only questions to the host or No chat.
  • Reactions 👏🔥❤️ so attendees can react.
  • Blocked words, separated by commas.
Let an AI assistant answer questions in the chat
  1. Under AI assistant in the chat, tick Let the assistant answer.
  2. If you like, give it a name under "Its name is".
  3. It answers using your business knowledge. It introduces itself as an AI. If it cannot answer, it leaves the question highlighted in the control room with the notice "the AI did not know: answer it yourself".
To turn it on you need your AI agent set up, with its knowledge, and your AI key connected.
Fill the chat with frequent questions or with the chat from an earlier session
  1. Under "Atmosphere" chat (scheduled), set the second it appears, a name and the message, and click Add.
  2. To add many at once, open Import many at once (CSV) or the real chat from a session and paste the lines in the format second, name, message.
  3. You can also choose a past session and click Copy the real chat from that session. Only the first name is copied.

Each message is labelled in the room as frequent question or earlier session, so it is clear where it comes from.

Use the fictitious atmosphere (with care)

There is an optional setting, Fictitious atmosphere, that allows comments with invented names and adds a base number to the room counter. To turn it on you have to read and accept a legal notice: presenting invented comments or attendees as if they were real can be a misleading practice. It is recorded who turns it on and when. We recommend using frequent questions and the real chat from earlier sessions instead.

Run the live session from the control room
  1. Open the webinar and click 🎛️ Control room (live).
  2. Choose the session in progress: you see how many are in the room and how many signed up.
  3. Under Chat of this session you read what people write. With delete you remove a message (with show you bring it back) and with the box below you reply publicly as host.
  4. Under Launch by hand you see the moments you marked "I launch it". Click one so they see it in the room straight away.

The screen refreshes itself every few seconds.

See how many came, how far they watched and how much they spent
  1. Open the webinar and click 📈 Analytics («📈 Analítica»).
  2. The first block goes from the ad to the money: visits to the page, sign-ups, attendees, people who clicked the offer and people who bought, with the percentage for each step. If there are sales, you see the revenue excluding VAT.
  3. How far they watch is a curve with the percentage of attendees still in the room at each minute.
  4. By time slot compares the sessions, and Where they come from shows the source of those who signed up.
  5. Offers in the room counts how many people clicked each offer.
  6. If you have an A/B test, you see the comparison of A and B here.
See who signed up and who attended

Open the webinar and scroll down to Sign-ups («Inscritos»). You see the name, email, session and, if they attended, the minutes they watched (✓ with their minutes). Above are the upcoming sessions and the Where they come from table.

Follow up automatically with people who signed up, attended or did not show
  1. Click ⚙️ Automatic follow-ups to go to Automations.
  2. There you can create a follow-up for when someone signs up, attends, does not come, watches 25, 50, 75 or 100%, or clicks the offer.
  3. EK1 puts tags on each lead's record according to what they do, so you can filter them.
  4. Click ⭐ Score attendees to add the recommended points rules in one go: you give points to whoever signs up, attends, watches 75%, asks a question or clicks the offer.
Get the reminders without doing anything

Whoever signs up receives the confirmation by email, plus reminders 24 hours, 1 hour and 5 minutes before the session. You do not have to set anything up.

Run a multi-day challenge or course (series)
  1. Open the day 1 webinar and unfold Multi-day series and converting a live session («Serie de varios días y conversión de un directo»).
  2. Click + Add the next day. A draft is created.
  3. Open it from the list, add its video and publish it.
  4. Whoever signs up for day 1 is signed up for all of them, each day at the same time, and receives the reminders for each.

A series counts as one single webinar in your plan.

Turn a live session you already gave into an evergreen
  1. Open the live webinar and unfold Multi-day series and converting a live session.
  2. Under "You have already broadcast it: turn it into an evergreen with its recording", paste the link to the recording.
  3. If you like, choose a session to bring its real chat across into the atmosphere chat (first name only).
  4. Click Turn into evergreen («Convertir en evergreen»). A new draft webinar is created with the recording, your offers and your chat.
  5. Open it from the list, choose its times and publish it.
Create the webinar with help from the AI
  1. Open the webinar and unfold ✨ Create with AI: script, slides, texts, emails and chat («✨ Crear con IA: guion, diapositivas, textos, emails y chat»).
  2. Tell it what you sell, to whom, what result it achieves and, if you like, the price.
  3. Choose what you want: Script, Slides, Page texts, Emails or Question chat, and click ✨ Create.
  4. Copy what you like. With the page texts, Use on my page moves them into the editor for you to review and save. With the question chat, Add to the atmosphere chat schedules them in the room.
The AI does not make up figures or testimonials: where one of your details is missing you will see [LIKE THIS] for you to fill in. You need your AI key connected in Settings › API keys. There is a daily maximum of creations; the screen tells you how many you have left.
